BCIT's Business Administration department has a temporary, part Faculty
(.20 FTE) position available to teach in the area of Sustainable
Business (Life Cycle Assessments for Business) in our Bachelor of Business
Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking an individual who is committed to quality and innovation in
meeting our students' needs and who values the importance of teamwork in the
Appropriate and current experience in managing business life cycle
Master's degree in Business Sustainability or Engineering (Sustainable
Product Design), or related field.
Desire and ability to teach and to support learning processes.
Ability to work with a diverse student body.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Willing to become fully involved in departmental activities and
Ability to work in a collegial environment.
Experience teaching in a post-secondary educational institution in face-
to-face and online environments.
Ability to use information technology tools as an aid to student learning.
Ability to teach a range of Business related courses.
Membership or certification in appropriate professional bodies.
Recent management and leadership experience.

Salary Range $56,845 to $99,571 per annum
Additional Salary Information
Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on
education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective
