Offer Description

Outline At the Division of Mathematical Science for Social Systems, we cultivate students' ability to use advanced mathematical methods developed in system theory, operations research, mathematical and statistical finance, and so on, for investigating and solving problems encountered in systems of the highly networked information society. Moreover, we study mathematical science and engineering techniques for the evolution of the latest theories, innovations of new technologies, the creation of novel applications, and so on.

In this open recruitment, we are seeking an academic staff member who has substantial research experience in modeling, analysis, design and control of dynamical systems, multi-agent systems, networked systems, cyber-physical systems, reliable systems and so on, and the capability of theoretical developments and pioneering novel applications in theoretical systems science such as control engineering, system theory, fundamental informatics, and so on. The successful applicant will be responsible for not only conducting research but also teaching liberal arts, and other subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
