Position Title Faculty - Non Tenure Track, Lecturer - Applied Communication
Position Category Faculty - Non Tenure Track (FT)
Applied Communication is seeking a non tenure track lecturer. A successful
candidate teaches students to understand and appreciate the Communication
discipline through student-centered engagement. The candidate will teach a
variety of applied communication courses including public speaking,
introduction to communication, interpersonal, health communication, small
group, and organizational communication. The individual shall instruct course
in-class, online, and through hybrid methods of delivery. Expected workload is
5 courses per semester.
An earned Master's degree in Communication or a related field from an
accredited institution required. Must be able to teach all modalities (in-
person in Orem, Utah, hybrid, online).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge required to teach public speaking, interpersonal, health
communication, small group, organizational communication or other COMM
classes. Knowledge of teaching hybrid and online (asynchronous and
synchronous). Must be able to teach all modalities (in-person in Orem, Utah,
