The BCIT School of Health Sciences requires a temporary, full time
Instructor in the Medical Imaging program. The successful candidate
will have current registration and experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include ongoing course development as well as
instruction and evaluation of students in the MRI Advanced Certificate and
Bachelor of Health Sciences degree. This candidate will become an integral
member of the Medical Imaging department team and play an active role in
future planning, organization and coordination of the department activities.
Diploma of Technology in a Medical Imaging discipline.
Minimum five years of current, relevant experience in a broad range of MRI
Current registration with CAMRT in MRI.
Evidence of continuing education in a relevant field.
Demonstrated organizational, communication, interpersonal and problem
Previous teaching experience is desirable.
Previous exam creation or exam validation experience is an asset.
Baccalaureate science degree or relevant post diploma degree desirable.
Ability to provide leadership and motivation.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement conceptual and innovative
Team player committed to a collaborative approach to education and
training and with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
Computer proficiency mandatory.

Salary Range $56,845 to $99,571 per annum
Additional Salary Information
Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on
education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective
