£34,980 rising annually to £38,205 Full Time, Fixed Term - Professional Ser

Oxford Brookes University has an exciting opportunity for a fixed term Contracts Manager role from January 2024 until June 2025. Although the post is offered as full time, part time requests will be considered. The successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for some of the week, and hybrid working on the other days depending on business need.

Working in the Finance Team in the Faculty Health and Life Sciences, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for administering and managing HLS contracts and for providing advice relating to contracts budget holder within the HLS Faculty.

Duties will include:

  • undertaking due diligence assessments
  • reviewing and issuing standard and bespoke contracts
  • providing accurate advice and guidance related to the contract process
  • working closely with the contract owner and/or contract budget holders
  • working closely with colleagues in finance, legal services, procurement and other contract Managers.
  • responsibility for monitoring contract performance indicators
  • providing regular reports to the relevant teams, and for ensuring internal transparency
  • You should have:

  • Education to degree level in any discipline or equivalent
  • Experience in a contract management role
  • Experience of working with legal teams to develop and create contracts
  • Experience of successful project management
