The Faculty of Engineering & Science is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich, split across two campuses – the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent, and the Greenwich Campus in Greenwich, London. Dedicated to inspirational learning, combining teaching with work placements and impactful research and is a complete hub for all STEM subjects within the University.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our growing Professional Services Team, as Faculty Accreditations Officer. The role holder will be responsible for managing the administration relating to accreditations of programmes in the Faculty as well as assisting key academic staff with the process. They will work with academic staff in preparing submission data, as well as the preparation of submission documents. The role holder will also be responsible for arranging and servicing Industrial Board meetings for the Faculty and Schools.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in administration, in an education environment, preferably in a further/higher education. They will have experience of servicing and minute-taking in a variety of committees/meetings/groups. They must have excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) and other tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have experience of liaising with a wide variety of individuals and organisations as well as being able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of colleagues.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to be based at either of our Medway or Greenwich campuses, reporting to the Faculty Standards and Support Manager.
