The Facility Monitor performs a variety of duties overseeing the operations of
outdoor athletic events hosted at the College. Ensures that the College's
special events are safe for participants and that outside vendors follow
College policies and procedures. Works on call, as needed, for event coverage.
1. Monitors and supervises athletic events held on Seminole State campus.
Events are scheduled through the Facility Use agreement process.
2. Serves as primary point of contact for College on day of events and works
with vendors to ensure event is set up per the facility agreement.
3. Informs security officers/off duty officers of any issues, concerns, or
disruptive behaviors that need to be addressed.
4. Communicates with vendors regarding College policies and procedures to
ensure they are being followed.
5. Assists in setting up for events including moving moderately heavy (up to
40 pounds) equipment and materials.
6.. Performs all site and position specific responsibilities as assigned.
