The overall purpose of this job is to assist the Senior Coordinator of Facilities/Events and the Assistant AD for External in day-to-day operations. This position assists in game management of all 15 sports and serves as the game administrator for baseball, volleyball, softball, and soccer events. The position also assists in administrative duties with motor pool, contract bidding, ground maintenance, and facilities projects. Assists with marketing, fundraising and other events as assigned.

Essential Functions
Oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of athletic facilities and event operations. Responsible for the maintenance/repair/upkeep of facilities. Oversees mowing and other groundwork for athletic fields (natural and grass). Schedules practices and events in athletic facilities. Ensures athletic facilities are reflective of the image required by the Director of Athletics. Serves as project manager for athletic facility upgrades and renovations, including capital projects. Manages facilities projects including office and locker room renovations as well as specialized space renovations. Prepares bid documents for facility equipment and projects. Supervises and manages staff at all home TTU athletic events. Responsible for venue setup, break-down, equipment setup and operation, coordination of event staff, game operations staff, officials, home and visiting staff, etc. as well as specialized event equipment. Coordinates and schedules non-affiliated events including high school graduations, district and regional high school basketball tournaments, and other special events for use of athletic facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in sports administration, sports management or a related field. Two years of related experience. Understanding of turf management and equipment upkeep. Ability to be able to handle adverse situations that could arise with fans attending sporting events. Effective communication and time management skills.

Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Administrative Pay Grade AD42.
