Executive Officer in the Faculty of Architecture (Ref.: 523776) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' work experience. They should also have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, interpersonal and problem- solving skills; and demonstrated capacity to work in a team with a supervisory role. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential to excel in this position. Computer literacy and IT proficiency are expected. Experience in a tertiary institution would be an advantage.
The appointee is expected to provide support in teaching and learning matters, including curriculum development, curriculum review, external examiners, and other special projects related to quality assurance and enhancement, as well as faculty and university-level teaching awards. The appointee also supports the faculty's new initiatives in Shanghai which involves assisting the line manager in supporting undergraduates learning experience; as well as developing and monitoring off-shore taught postgraduate programmes in Shanghai including but not limited to admission, course enrollment, examination, curriculum management, student matters, system development and maintenance. He/She will also be responsible for committee servicing, special projects, events, programme promotions, and any other duties as assigned. The appointee is also expected to travel occasionally.
