Programme Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Admissions Office of the Registry (Ref.: 520472) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years' work experience, preferably in the education sector. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; the ability to work independently with initiative; a highly outgoing personality; strong organisational and communication skills; and IT proficiency. Applicants with experience in student relations and outreach are preferred.
The appointee will be responsible for student recruitment and applications for the special admissions schemes, as well as liaising with faculties and units within the University to provide learning and administrative support to students admitted via these schemes. The appointee is also required to maintain a good relationship with the students, build a close community and network with them and perform any other duties as assigned by the Section Head. The appointee may be occasionally required to work outside regular office hours and on weekends, and to travel overseas. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
