Summary:

The Executive Director, Center for Student Professional Development, assumes responsibility for overall leadership, strategic direction, and delivery of professional and career-related services to students of the Fox School of Business. Provide innovative and visionary leadership for a comprehensive department serving Fox students and corporate partners. Maintain a student- centered, forward-looking operation; oversee budgeting, technology, and assessment functions as well as the articulation of outcomes to internal and external stakeholders. Build an awareness of FSBM students as an optimal resource for outstanding candidates for the business community; manage external employment relations between the business community and CSPD. Create and build meaningful internships, mentorships, externships, and permanent employment opportunities for FSBM students. Develop and manage student- employer focused events and activities. Produce and deliver student career development activities within the all program curricula as well as student professional organizations. Work closely with the Associate Vice Dean of Undergraduate Programs, Vice Dean of Graduate and International Programs, and other members of the Dean's Office, faculty advisors and department chairs to develop career paths and planning, meaningful employment opportunities, and contacts with the business community. Establish and maintain e-recruiting, alumni, and business contact database. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities:

Demonstrated strategic planning skills and ability to take initiative.

Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, database software and communication tools.

Strong customer service and relationship management skills and ability to conduct targeted communications with prospective students from inquiry through enrollment.

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Experienced in the use of databases, preferably in a visual basic driven environment. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, listservs, and e-mail required. Proficient in the use of print and web-based communications.

This position requires a background check.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
