The University of Northampton is seeking a proactive, highly motivated and professional Executive Assistant to work in the Office of the Vice Chancellor (OVC) as Executive Assistant to Professor Shân Wareing the Deputy Vice Chancellor.
As Executive Assistant you will provide a comprehensive and exemplary level of personal administrative and organisational support to the DVC, and where appropriate, others in the Executive Team, allowing them to be effective and efficient in the delivery of their roles. You will act as a trusted partner, maintaining a thorough understanding of their priorities, allowing them to make informed decisions on agendas, requests, and approvals.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to respond calmly, professionally and effectively with a diverse group of people at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation, approaching confidential matters with tact and diplomacy.
You will be able to handle multiple priorities, balancing needs and expectations ensuring they are provided with exceptional attention to detail and will possess experience of working to deadlines, with a positive attitude to working under pressure.

Based at our Waterside Campus (3 days per week), the post is full time, 37 hours per week with the opportunity to work in a blended working model, mixing on and off-site working where appropriate.
