Job Description:
The Campus Center at the University at Albany seeks an Event Technology Coordinator to aid in establishing better lines of communication with faculty, staff, and students to facilitate smooth event management. The Campus Center is the premiere space for events, workshops, meetings, conferences, and informal gatherings, delivering on event priorities related to quality customer care is essential for the end user's experience. The Coordinator will work with campus constituencies to design a logistical plan that will outline their sound and technological needs for their particular event. The Coordinator will have responsibility for the department's sound and technology equipment, communicating with groups around their needs, as well as overseeing the website, social media accounts, and marketing. The incumbent individual would also help to train and certify our current student technical team.
