We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 e-Referral Lead to join the Trauma and Orthopaedics team in the Patient Services Centre (PSC).
The role will require you to be the central point of contact for your team on the use of the e-Referral system and to provide a comprehensive administrative service for all aspects of the of e-Referral system including utilising the reporting functions. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated individual who will deliver a 1st class service to all of our patients.
Patient Services Centre (PSC) staff are hardworking, committed to patient care and often the first point of contact for the patients, they are responsible for:
Booking over 650,000 outpatient appointments each year, covering 50 specialties across the Trust Booking first and follow up appointments, rescheduling/cancelling appointments, and clinic management Making and receiving around 20,000 calls per month from patientsMain duties of the job

The E-Referral system is a secure booking site whereby patients can book into UHS outpatient services if the GP feels that an outpatient appointment is needed.Your Responsibilities What you'll do:
This is a full-time post 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday. The PSC is open from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 8:30-16:30 Saturdays to meet the needs of the services and there may be requirement to work within these times.Additional information
