The position requires: (1) at least a Master's degree from a regionally
accredited educational institution in the discipline of education, (2)
recent (within the last five years) successful administrative experience in
the K-12 classroom setting/school, (3) successful teaching experience in the
K-12 classroom setting, (4) an active Florida Professional Teaching
Certificate or in the renewal process to be completed in the next 6 months,
and (5) proof of Clinical Education Training.

This position acts a mentor to students working on earning their Florida
teaching certificate through the successful completion of the Educator

Mentors will observe EPI students at various Hillsborough County schools and
must have their own transportation. The College is seeking applicants to teach
part-time for upcoming semesters. Applications will remain actively on file
for one year. To be considered, applicants must have been awarded the
qualifying degree and/or qualifying graduate semester hours. If you are
selected for a screening interview for an adjunct faculty position, you must
bring an official transcript(s) in a sealed envelope from the educational
institution to the interview. Applicants with a qualifying degree from an
educational institution outside the United States and Canada must submit a
foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National
Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website: www. naces.org).
Additional Documents Required
To complete your application, you must attach a copy of your graduate academic
transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of higher education,
showing attainment of at least the minimum qualifications. Do not send
official transcripts to the College unless specifically asked to do so at a
later date. You can scan your transcript(s) and attach to the application.
If you cannot attach your transcripts, contact the Employment Office prior to
the job close date (if applicable) and we will attach the document(s) for
you. If the transcript does not reflect the awarding of the qualifying degree,
or the attainment of the required graduate semester hours, attach written
documentation from the educational institution showing when the degree was
