  • About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an Enrolment Specialist to join our vibrant and fast paced Student Administration and Enrolment Services team.

    A key part of this role is to build strong working relationships with academics and teaching staff, be embedded in the business units and develop deep knowledge of course structures, study plans and award requirements to ensure student course enquiries are handled in a professional and timely manner.

    You will also provide detailed and specialist course and study planning advice to students. Whilst a large proportion of student course enquiries are responded to by staff at studentHQ or the Current Student Enquiries teams, queries requiring more detailed knowledge of course structures or those that are more complex in nature, will be ‘warm transferred' to the Enrolment Specialist.

    At times you will be required to work flexibly across Student Administration and Library Services to support operational needs and to facilitate staff development opportunities.

    About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Significant experience in the coordination of student client services functions and demonstrated ability to deliver high quality services to a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to establish and communicate clear priorities from competing demands.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Vocational Education, Higher Education and foundation administrative process and legislative requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail ensuring a high level of accuracy in organisational matters and written materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to provide advice and support to staff, students, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in the provision of customer service, quality and the promotion of a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to investigate and make informed decisions regarding complex issues.
  • Demonstrated capacity to conceptualise, develop, review and maintain significant policies and procedures.
  • High level ability and skills in the use of Microsoft Office software packages including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use effectively a variety of other computer software packages such as the University's Student Management System.
  • Qualifications Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
