Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
The Facilities Management (FM) department's Planning & Construction section is under the direction of the Director of Planning & Construction. The section oversees planning, design, renovation, and new construction of the university's physical resources. The section manages the Campus Master Plan and Capital Improvement Program by overseeing designer selection, schematic design, design development, and construction-document creation; managing and delivering new construction and facility renovation projects that meet or exceed university standards, client expectations, and building code and regulatory requirements.

Primary Purpose of the Position
The Construction Management Team Supervisor reports to the Director of Facilities Planning & Construction. The position is responsible for the supervision of a team of Construction Project Managers (Engineering/Architectural Technicians) to ensure the successful project delivery of new construction, renovation and repair projects across the FSU campus.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in the engineering discipline related to the area of assignment and two years of related engineering experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Architect Supervisor: Bachelor's degree related to the area of assignment and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Licensed to practice architecture or landscape architecture by the North Carolina Board of Architecture or the North Carolina Board of Landscape Architects. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
