About You As the Engagement and Experience Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and promoting a range of innovative student experience programs delivered overseas, on campus, on country and online. These programs are designed to inspire our commitment to equip all student with the cultural intelligence required to tackle the global challenges of the 21st century. This will be achieved through providing efficient and effective day-to-day administrative, systems, communications and student engagement support to coordinators and managers.
To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum:
Experience in a customer service environment role handling administrative tasks, preferably in an education environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting promotional activities and events for students.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills including public speaking, the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and sensitively in cross cultural contexts, ability to negotiate and resolve problems.
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills including ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities to complete tasks in a timely manner with attention to detail and accuracy.
Technical knowledge to be able to use relevant software and systems, and a basic understanding in analysing data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite such as Word and Excel

About the Portfolio
The Education Portfolio is headed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Vice President who leads the planning and implementation of the University's strategies related to RMIT's academic programs and the RMIT student experience.
The Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.
The Education Portfolio plays a key role in empowering students to access education, participate actively in the life of the University and achieve successful and fulfilling lives beyond graduation.
