Position Summary
EngaGE Student Innovators will serve as student leaders, mentors, and
consultants in support and advancement of highly engaging teaching and
learning in General Education courses at Eastern Kentucky University. Students
selected for these positions will bring the most innovative learning
approaches, excitement for General Education courses, first-year and
undergraduate success skills to students and faculty at the University.
EngaGE Student Innovators will
Model effective, innovative learning practices for students;
Support development of innovative learning practices to engage students in
a transformational General Education experience;
Develop resources, tools, media, and support for General Education faculty
and student related to teaching and learning;
Provide authentic feedback on teaching and learning resources;
Provide student perspective on authentic assignments, tools, and other
teaching resources;
Develop and support large-scale communication and media such as electronic
newsletters, videos, modules, and other projects;
Provide input and guidance into the most effective learning practices for
students;
Support research and assessment initiatives;
Offer support and coordination for the EngaGE program.
Sponsorship Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis,
depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the
qualifications of the candidate.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be full-time students at EKU, have a 3.0 minimum GPA, and be
in good academic standing with the University.
