Position Summary

The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.

The Endpoint Management Integration and Solutions Professional is part of the Endpoint Management team within Applications and Systems. SCCM, Jamf, Workspace One, VMware Horizon, and Group Policy will be utilized in this position to build complicated software packages and deliver the latest application software and security updates to users. Software application packages are critical for students, faculty, and staff to have access to the software necessary for the unique needs of all WCU-owned endpoints and their use cases. Position will provide technical solutions to business problems by identifying the needs and requirements of the client. Develop the appropriate technical solution using endpoint management tools. Participate in team- oriented collaborative discussions, creative thinking, and devising solutions based on the direction of management. Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues and execute solutions. Design, test, and hands-on development in applications, project support, interfaces, reports, workflows, and forms. Provide proactive, process, and preventive strategies to improve IT initiatives.

The Endpoint Management Integration and Solutions Professional will be cross- trained and serve as a backup to the Endpoint Management Administrators.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the Information Technology field or a combination of an Associate degree and at least 2 years of experience in the Information Technology field

Preferred Qualifications

Previous demonstrated experience with Jamf, SCCM, Workspace One, VMware Horizon / vSphere, and Group Policy.
