Employment and Recruitment Service Manager
Lancaster University is recruiting for an Employment and Recruitment Service (ERS) Manager to join our team to develop the University's fast paced and diverse internal and commercial recruitment agency services, and staffing bank.
Reporting to the Head of Employer Engagement, the post holder will lead the ERS's end to end recruitment processes payroll and financial functions within the Careers and Employability Service and will manage a team of recruitment advisors and interns to fairly and legally attract candidates, and select, recruit and pay workers for a variety of roles on campus and within the wider labour market.
The successful candidate will play an important part in enhancing the employability skills of our students and graduates , In addition to influencing the professional development and employability of our students and graduates through part time work experience, the post holder will provide human resources solutions to internal and external hiring managers.
You will be systematic in your thinking, confident with IT systems and clearly understand employment and recruitment processes. You will be a passionate team leader and natural networker , who enjoys building and fostering positive professional relationships with a wide range of contacts across the corporate, public and third sectors. You will be future-focused in developing the service offer , working alongside other members of the team, and colleagues within our academic departments, and professional services divisions.
The team is revisiting its structure and focus and therefore this post is offered indefinitely with an end date of 31 July 2023.
