Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Email Marketing Coordinator to join our team and produce engaging email communications for prospective students that have applied for entry to Curtin.
In this primarily back-end role, you will work closely with your colleagues in the Marketing, Digital and Technology Solutions (DTS), Admissions and International teams to optimise the conversion stage of the student user journey. The awesome work you do will have a big impact on the number of students that accept their offers to be admitted to the university.
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in a related field, or a combination of relevant work experience, education and/or training. You will also have demonstrated experience in similar positions and have experience or working knowledge of email marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, Eloqua, Campaign Monitor and Mailchimp.
We are also interested in hearing from people who may have broad digital marketing experience that are interested in learning more about marketing automation and email marketing.
Please note you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
To learn more about this opportunity, please contact Becky Dunn, Marketing Engagement Manager on 08 9266 1710.
The work you will be doing forms part of an exciting project driven by our DTS team, which will look at the student user journey from the apply to admit stages, and all other stages in between. This is a very important project for the university as we try to maintain and grow our market share of both domestic and international students.
In your new role, you'll be co-located between the DTS and Marketing Engagement Team and will be required to collaborate closely with the Admissions and International teams from time to time. You'll also have the opportunity to consult and work closely with the Brand and Content teams so you can remain across the work they're producing.
The Marketing Engagement Team are a small, but mighty team of seven that are responsible for organising some of the university's biggest and most important student recruitment events such as Open Day for the Bentley and Kalgoorlie campuses, the Undergrad Expo, parent information evenings and other webinars. The team are also responsible for the Curtin's marketing automation platform and programs which aim to engage future students and support them in their application journey.
Our vibrant campus includes a gym, childcare, a medical centre, an art gallery, endless food options including a full-range grocer, beautiful gardens, end-of-trip facilities, good parking and excellent public transport connections.
