Position Description:

The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics is recruiting a full-time electrophysiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor. Candidates must have a MD or equivalent. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored employment authorization – sponsorship for H1B status. The candidate will work at UIHC, IRL and outreach locations and may have some clinical effort at the Iowa City VA Medical Center. In addition, the candidate will have clinic and work in the UIHC EP lab.

Education Requirement:

MD or equivalent

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have hands on experience in electrophysiology.

Certifications:

Board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
