Project/Unit DescriptionThe Electrical Engineer in the Electronic Systems Laboratory (ELSYS) Applied Embedded Systems Division (AES) supports the design, development, test and integration of custom or Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) computing, signal processing, or communication circuit cards in embedded products. Electrical Engineers develop and design solutions including analog and digital portions for Electronic Warfare, Radar, Avionics and Communication Systems in low Size, Weight and Power/High Reliability (SWAP/Hi-Rel) environments.
Job PurposeIn this position, you will design, develop and test electronic circuits fabricated to support a wide range of programs. The Electrical Engineer will utilize electrical circuit design and analysis tools to layout and model circuit performance. This position will guide the assembly, test and integration of electronic circuits. You will test, analyze and diagnose malfunctions in existing hardware. In this role, you will research component and material specifications and assembly and manufacturing methods for electronic circuits.
