Education Support Assistant

Job description

Education and Academic Support

This full time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until the 31st October 2023.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Education Support Team, providing all the key administration and support activities that underpin the student experience from Fresher's week to Graduation.

This post will be based within the Education Support team on the St Luke's campus, as part of the St Luke's Hub Team.

All staff within Education Services are expected to work on-campus as well as from home, on a rota basis. All new external appointments will be asked to work from campus full time whilst training is being completed.

The position offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career as an administration and customer services professional. The University is looking for dynamic and committed individuals who have the required experience and skills to join our busy student facing teams.

Working as part of a cross-College team you will provide advice, guidance and administrative support to students and staff in all matters relating to our taught programmes of study at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. The available posts will have responsibilities that will need to be flexible across the service and the post may be deployed to provide support at other Information Point locations within the University.

About you

You will have experience of working flexibly both as part of a team and independently, to deliver an outstanding customer service experience. You will have excellent customer service skills and experience of administration work, as well as experience of working in a culture of change and growth.

Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
