Position Title Education - Lecturer
The Dr. Bonnie G. Metcalf School of Education is accepting applications for a
lecturer position in Teacher Education at California Baptist University,
Riverside, California. The position will start in August 2022. Though all
areas of teacher education will be considered, special attention will be given
to those with expertise in both multiple subject, single subject, edTPA, and
the student teaching experience.
The successful candidate joins a dedicated interdisciplinary team to
strengthen and build the various Teacher Education programs at the
undergraduate and graduate level. The primary duties will include teaching
courses within the SOE.

• Master's degree or higher
• Relevant teaching experience with K-12 students
• Evidence of expertise in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education,
Special Education, STEM Education, or related areas
• Ability to teach students across a wide diversity of cultures and ages
• Knowledge of edTPA
• Doctoral degree or ABD candidate
• 5 years or more teaching experience in diverse K-12 settings
• Evidence of effective and innovative teaching at the graduate and/or
Teaching responsibilities will be in undergraduate and graduate credential
courses. Teaching load will be across 3 semesters within the School of
State and Federal law permit California Baptist University to discriminate on
