Editorial and Quality Assistant Marketing and Communications Location: Brighton - Moulsecoomb

Salary: £23,144 to £25,138 per annum Closing Date: Sunday 08 September 2024 Reference: MK5211-24-307

Bring your organisational skills and eye for detail to work in our busy marketing and communications department where you'll play a hands-on role in supporting editorial quality and making sure that our published information is accurate and meets national guidelines and requirements.

The main responsibility of this role is helping to keep online course pages up to date, alongside working with the content team to manage content assets created in the department and by our student ambassadors. You'll champion our brand guidance and editorial style guidelines, contribute to the editing and quality checking of content, and support colleagues in the production of key print materials.

This role is a great opportunity to learn from a multi-faceted creative and digital team who are writing, designing and creating content across all of the university's channels. You'll be interested in learning about copy writing and editing, and how the right words will engage your audience – and you'll almost certainly love a list.

This is a permanent full-time position based on our Moulsecoomb campus. The university offers a wide range of benefits including access to the Local Government Pension Scheme. We operate hybrid working meaning that you can work part of your hours remotely, in agreement with your manager.
