Offer Description

The Valahia University of Targoviste announces one open Ph.D. research position for the implementation of the project Efficient Algorithms for Reducing Sound Artifacts in Hearing Aids (code: PN-III-P4-PCE-2021-0780). Approaches to reducing howling, occlusion, and entrainment effects of hearing aids will be investigated. Various acoustic feedback cancellation, active noise control algorithms using adaptive filtering, and machine learning approaches will be developed. Matlab, Python, and FPGA implementations are envisaged. Attending national and international conferences will be considered. The supervisor is a Ph.D. advisor affiliated with the Doctoral School of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania (https: // falbu.50webs.com).
