The Department of Work and Organisation Studies (WOS) is an interdisciplinary group of about 60 scholars with backgrounds in economics, sociology, psychology, management and history, bringing different theoretical as well as methodological perspectives to the study of work. More specifically, the research at WOS aims to extend knowledge on employees' and job seekers' psychosocial well-being and on organizational practices, policies, and processes that affect the nature and conditions of work and the organisation of labour within the society. The Faculty of Economics and Business has four campuses (in Antwerp, Brussels, Kortrijk, and Leuven). This position is related to our campus in Antwerp, but travelling between campuses and collaboration with researchers from other campuses is certainly possible. You carry out scientific research in the domain of organizational behaviour, and more specifically intervention studies, thereby strengthening your research portfolio as well as contributing to both the organizational behaviour and the research methods lab. In addition, we expect you to execute an educational project, i.e. an international market analysis of Human Resources (HR) and Organizational Behaviour (OB) master programs to inform and guide a re-positioning of the curriculum and develop new teaching material related to changes in the curriculum. Finally, you will provide teaching support (e.g. supervision of bachelor's or master's theses, correction of exams, support for a course or teach (part of) a course).Profile
We offer employment as a full-time doctor-assistant (80% possible, to be discussed) in a stimulating environment starting on February 1st 2023, for a period of 1 year.
Salary according to scale 44.
Your main office will be in Antwerp because the educational project is related to the program in Antwerp.More information
