About The Role

We are seeking an Administrator to support our professional teams within the Student and Library Services Directorate. The successful candidate will need to work flexibly across several teams providing administrative support (Academic Skills, Languages, Accessibility, Non-Medical Helper and Academic Liaison teams), but the focus will be on supporting the Non-Medical Helper and Accessibility teams.

The Non-Medical Helper team provides specialist support for students with disabilities and the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for responding to team queries and will be responsible for the creation of support cases and a range of administrative duties using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Electronic Timesheet system. They will also be responsible for running payroll, invoicing, preparing for audits and providing proactive outreach to encourage students to engage in their support.

About You

Reporting to Accessibility Project Manager, the successful candidate will be a highly organised individual able to work flexibly, be self-motivated and be able to prioritise work in a busy environment. You will need to be able to work accurately to deadlines and be able to communicate effectively in person, on the telephone and online. You will also need to be proficient and confident in using a range of IT systems and software. Alongside these key skills, teamwork is vital in this role as well as a friendly and personable approach.

This post is offered as a permanent, full-time, 37.5 hour a week contract working across Monday-Friday.
