Your new role As the Director, Student Operations, you'll be a driver of change, cultivating collaboration, and championing continuous improvement through engaging leadership and strategic management of the areas you lead. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and engaging leader with a passion for team success and a commitment to leveraging technology and innovation to drive continuous improvement. You will lead the evolution of multiple areas by unifying technology, empowering teams, and people under a structure cultivating collaboration, personal growth and championing continuous improvement. You will be a strategic and operational leader, leveraging technology and data to enable Student Services to deliver exceptional experiences for students and staff at every stage of their journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies that align with our vision and goals. Champion continuous improvement, leveraging technology and data insights.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Cultivate high-performing teams, foster a culture of excellence and accountability, and provide opportunities for professional growth.
  • Technology and Systems Management: Lead the optimization of our student management systems and CRM. Use data analytics to improve service delivery and student engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Financial Management and Regulatory Compliance: Oversee student finance processes and ensure compliance with regulations. Engage with government agencies and stakeholders on financial and compliance issues.
  • What we're looking for:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in a higher education or complex organisational setting.
  • Proven leadership and management skills in technical, financial, or service-oriented environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Expertise in managing enterprise-level systems in large organisations.
  • Strong capabilities in implementing technology solutions to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
