Job Summary: Responsible for overall administrative oversight of the Visualization and Digital Multimedia Center of Excellence for outreach services and in support of relevant academic programs. Engage with external stakeholders and foster relationships with the film industry. Coordinate the pipeline of continual film-related projects related to topics and issues relevant to people living in coastal and maritime settings. This position will play a key role in expanding the reach and impact of Coastal USM's Media and Entertainment Arts (Film) program and ensuring its alignment with industry trends and practices.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Master's degree in film studies, marketing, public relations, strategic communications, or related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of five years' experience in film-related endeavors. Minimum of three years leadership activity in outreach experience. Minimum one year experience teaching.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
Preferred Qualifications: Terminal degree in film studies, marketing, public relations, strategic communications or related field from an accredited college or university with seven years' experience in film-related endeavors; five years leadership activity in outreach experience; and three years experience in teaching. Previous experience with securing external funding is ideal.
