Estates & Facilities Professional & Business Support Senior staff grade - £83,985 to £91,312 (pro rata) dependent on experience

Our newly created Infrastructure and Change Group brings together Digital Technology Services, Estates and Facilities and Transformation, recognising the strategic importance of the physical and technological campus and the opportunity this brings for transformational changes to where and how we work.

As Director of Campus Development and Property, you will lead the development of an innovative and ambitious campus environment that helps us deliver the University's strategic aims and meets operational needs. You will also join the Infrastructure and Change leadership team, supporting the Group Director in providing overall leadership of infrastructure development across the University.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic planning for the campus to meet the University's aspirations for growth and sustainability
  • Leading the development and implementation of the University's campus plan
  • Collaborating effectively with external partners and stakeholders
  • Key capabilities you will need include:

  • Extensive senior management experience in estates development - both strategy formulation and execution, ideally in higher education or the public sector
  • Significant experience of designing and implementing flexible and innovative user focused solutions that deliver organisational strategy
  • Substantial experience of working in partnership and building strong links with leaders and managers at all levels within an organisation and externally
