Primary Purpose of Position
The Director of Annual Giving (“Director”) provides overall strategy, leadership and direction for the Charlotte Athletic Foundation's annual giving program. The Director oversees the comprehensive strategy and implementation of all annual fund activities, to include priority seating/parking benefits as well as special interest groups such as sport-specific giving, former student- athlete campaigns, Niner Nation Gives, and others as identified. The Director manages all aspects of annual giving while maintaining a portfolio of donors and prospects. The Director will also serve as a development liaison to a limited number of sport programs.
Summary of Position Responsibilities
The Director takes direction from the Chief Operating Officer and works in close partnership with the Executive Director, providing leadership to an Assistant Director of Annual Giving. The Director will also work closely with the Athletic Foundation's Event/Stewardship Coordinator to appropriately acknowledge annual fund donors.
