Primary Purpose of Position
The College of Engineering Information Technology (COE IT) unit is closely aligned with and operates as an extension of Information Technology Services with responsibilities in the College of Engineering. COE IT works with ITS to plan, acquire, implement, manage, and secure technology in the college. COE IT participates in campus shared IT governance and ensure that all systems and applications managed by the college comply with university requirements for procurement, management, and security.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
North Carolina A&T State University is a public, doctoral high research land- grant University that enrolls approximately 13,560 students. The University is a learner-centered community that develops and preserves intellectual capital through interdisciplinary learning, discovery, engagement, and operational excellence.
The College of Engineering, with over 2,300 students, has EAC ABET-accredited undergraduate programs in Architectural, Bioengineering, Biological, Civil, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering, as well as a CAC ABET-accredited program in Computer Science.
