As a Dining Services Hospitality Associate you will serve customers in an
efficient and courteous manner . The Dining Services Hospitality Associate
will work with management and co-workers to instill and foster the value of
the Villanova Mission Statement and the Dining Services Mission Statement. The
individual will focus on our Core Values: Safety and Sanitation, Friendly
Courteous Service, and Excellence. All of our associates should improve our
systems and overall operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a member of the Dining Services Department, you may work in any of the
following positions: front of the house- food
production/serving/cashier/barista and back of the house food production. Job
duties include but are not limited to:
Set-up, maintain, and break down all service lines. Ability to prepare
and/or cook food for cold production and for pizza/grill lines. Stock,
rotate and replenish merchandise as needed. Back of the house production
includes salad and fruit bars, deli prep, desserts, and commissary items
May work on any of the following stations serving our customers:
sandwich/salad/pizza/grill/Holy Grounds areas/register stations
Cleans and sanitizes food equipment and dining room tables and chairs
Works special events/weekends as required
Assists in the dish room area if needed including sweeping, mopping,
disposing of trash/recycling
Perform additional job duties as directed by supervisor or manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic reading and writing skills; basic communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Practices excellent personal hygiene habits and follows and adheres to
uniform standards
Ability to: follow directions and complete assigned tasks, work with
minimal supervision, and to interact with people on a constant basis
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred – High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred – Basic knowledge of food service safety and sanitation
Preferred – Serv Safe Training and Allergy Awareness Training
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift, push/pull up to 10 pounds independently and up to 40
pounds with assistance
Ability to withstand extreme temperatures
