Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing task requests,
content optimisation and publishing for the portfolio and relevant University
stakeholders. Digital Marketing Coordinator will advise on content management,
best practice web guidelines, implementation of the adobe-marketing suite to
improve user experience on RMIT digital assets, web statistics analysis and
search engine optimisation under supervision.
It is also this role's responsibility to maintain and update best practice
content on the website that is simple, accessible and helps achieve
acquisition targets as well as enhance customer experience, under supervision.
Your Responsibilities
Be part of a team of motivated, engaged and professionals who are
proactive advisors and deliver outstanding digital support to the
university through industry-leading web capability, delivery agility and a
team culture.
Support the delivery of web projects, new initiatives, supporting key
stakeholders in the Communications Team.
Collaborate with the Communications team to coordinate, publish, test and
optimise staff and public website content to improve user experience and
ensure that content remains up to date.
Web Marketing Coordinator is the main point of contact for RMIT web and
marketing staff enquiries about staff site and public site web publishing
enquiries.
Manage, priorities and complete content change requests and manage
stakeholder relationships. Manage the work queue and BAU publishing on
RMIT public and staff website.
Act as the web-publishing custodian within the team and help educate and
support other functions including the communications teams and student
support teams in publishing their respective content.
Undertake content remediation, including content archiving and deletion,
content mapping and content improvement.
Reviewing content and ensuring the content adheres to the RMIT's brand
guidelines and digital best practices as well as SEO and writing for the
web guidelines.
Monitor, analyse and report web statistics, using Google and Adobe
Analytics, for nominated websites and online marketing initiatives.
Role model the RMIT values and be an active member of the Web team.
Provide support and guidance to other members of the Web team
Create, edit and publish content on the AEM platform and other platforms
where necessary.
Key Selection Criteria
A relevant bachelor's degree, preferably in Digital marketing, Marketing,
Professional communication, Journalism, etc.
Experience in content authoring, editing, and publishing (knowledge of
accessibility, usability, writing for web guidelines, SEO and technical
issues is well-regarded).
Experience with content management systems (AEM preferred but not
essential)
Demonstrated experience in digital editing and web publishing (including
knowledge of SEO, analytics, writing for web principles, accessibility,
usability, and technical issues)
Experience building and maintaining effective and productive stakeholder
relationships
Demonstrated experience in understanding and reporting on site performance
and analytics
Demonstrated ability to apply policies, procedures, and systems.
Demonstrated experience in coordination of digital projects and campaigns
including planning, communication, implementation, evaluation, and
reporting.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team
environment to achieve objectives within complex organisational
structures.
Understanding of digital planning, delivery and measurement that
contributed to organisational objectives.
Understanding of new media and digital technology to improve outcomes.
English Proficiency
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For
this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (General) score of at least 5.5
(or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding
Guidelines).
For any role, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by showing
successful completion of secondary education to a level qualifying to enter
university study while being instructed through the medium of English, as per
the RMIT University recognised qualification list.
