Under the general direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Content Specialist will work with offices across campus to provide web content management support and fulfill needs in the areas of social media, video production, analytics reporting, and strategic communications. The Digital Content Specialist conceptualizes, plans, and executes the website needs and other digital content needs of the institution in support of recruitment efforts and overarching marketing goals; creates and edits digital content that positively impacts the university's mission, goals, strategic objectives, and constituency relations in alignment with the university's strategic plan; oversees the day-to-day operations on the University's various social media platforms; captures photos and video of campus life and activities to utilize on the institution's website and social media; oversees the university's analytics and provides insights for optimizing performance; and provides support to the Director on strategic communications efforts, including publication of the electronic newsletter. Remote work is a possibility for up to two days per week.

Based on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant, the salary range is low-$40,000's, plus a 10% employer contribution to the UMS retirement plan. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, and tuition waiver programs for employees and dependents.
