    Position Summary

    The role of Digital Analyst will be focused on the development, support and maintenance of Adobe Analytics within the organisation. The position will work in close partnership with the analytics team in Melbourne to enable solutions for the Vietnam site and connect insights into product and path to purchase strategy, presenting their findings and recommendations to Management, Directors and C-Suite. They will require analytics skills, with technical and coding skills. At this level and due to the complex platform, they will also require strong communication skills, in the English language. Their analytics skills will not be just for pulling reports, but to synthesise the information, provide insights, recommendations and suggestions for optimisation.

    Key Accountabilities
  • Implementation of Adobe Analytics, via Adobe Tag Management, ensuring that the implementation meets the business needs, and that it is maintained to ensure it runs as efficiently as possible, to reduce the load/ calls to Adobe servers, while also being as clean as possible for the loading on the webpages of the website to reduce errors and load times of pages.
  • Run / create regular reports, and analysis of these reports to senior stakeholders. Also support monthly reporting, standard reports in Adobe Analytics and support data integration of Adobe Analytics data into central reporting systems.
  • Integrating Adobe Analytics data to the wider reporting systems of the university (via Denodo).
  • Be the expert - train, advise and provide support to Business users in their use of Adobe Analytics
  • Lead the direction of further development and direction of the Adobe platform in Vietnam and within the organisation.
  • Implementation of Adobe Analytics to new websites.
  • Enhancement of existing implementation of Adobe Analytics in Adobe Data Management.
  • Management of Assets, Rules and Libraries in Adobe Data Management.
  • Manage Documentation regarding the Adobe analytics implementation, assets and rules.
  • Work with IT AEM development teams for requirements and implementation for the Data Layer in websites.
  • Key Selection Criteria
  • You have a minimum 3-5 years of broad experience in Adobe products and web development, and relish continuing in a role where you will be able to focus on Adobe Analytics, but continue to work with view of the broader picture.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Analytics implementation via Adobe Data Management (Adobe Launch / Adobe Data Tag Management).
  • Demonstrate previous experience of Adobe Analytics implementation.
  • Experienced in JavaScript (specifically for use within Adobe Data Management rules).
  • Experience in analysis via other platforms such as Power BI.
  • Experience in development in Adobe AEM Front and backend.
  • Experience in Data integration, and SQL.
  • Experience in other Adobe products such as Adobe Target and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position and RMIT Values.
  • English Proficiency

    English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (General) score of at least 6.0 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).
