Offer Description

Research Objectives:

Development and use of mathematical methods and models to design propulsion systems in aerospace. The objective is the generation of multiphysics and variable-fidelity mathematical models needed in the study and preliminary design phase of future aerospace propulsion devices, with emphasis on their environmental impact.

Methodology:

To achieve the objectives of this research, in-house lumped- parameter and CFD software will be used, capable of representing the devices of interest and their performance also in relation to the system in which they are embedded.

Expected Results:

The results of this research will contribute to the expertise needed to design aerospace propulsion devices with reduced environmental impact.
