We are looking for a new Design Project Manager to develop and enhance our innovative approach to project delivery. As a creative arts university, we are proud of our students and staff and keen to improve our spaces and facilities and to enrich the student experience with projects that shape their environment and optimise staff networks and expertise, as part of UCA's Transformation initiative.
You will be an experienced and senior design professional with an academic background in architecture/interior design, able to implement design and construction projects in a live working environment. You will be responsible for design, co-ordination and delivery of a range of projects and will have appropriate skills and expertise to co-ordinate input from university colleagues and students towards defined project outcomes and within agreed parameters of cost, programme and functionality.
You will be a visionary who can inspire, nurture and lead project teams and ensure value for money in the procurement of construction activities. This is a senior role within Estates and Facilities with responsibility across all our UK campuses. You will preferably be based in Farnham, however there is flexibility to consider Epsom or Canterbury as your main location, travel between campuses is an essential part of the role. You will also be expected to support the growth of the University using your industry networks.
