Aston University is running two highly successful and exciting UK Shared Prosperity Funded projects Shropshire - Advanced Prototyping Facility (APF), and Shropshire Agri Project (AGRI). These projects support small and medium- sized enterprises (SMEs) based in the Shropshire area to innovate in manufacturing, Design, Testing, and innovation across a wide range of markets.

We seek a Project Officer who is a sound administrator to help ensure operational and financial compliance, plus work on the marketing for the projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager of Design Factory Birmingham you will administer finance and project assurance processes to ensure that the programs are hitting their goals and objectives, in addition you will support marketing and business development, including event management, Website, and Social Media work.

Working as part of a team the successful candidate will be responsible for administration of the systems to support the team including procurement, finance, and client relationship. This will involve managing the individual project's paperwork, organising meetings with clients and companies, and liaising with other team members to ensure timesheets and reports are filled in correctly.

The candidate will also work alongside the Senior Project Manager and Financial Officer to produce the quarterly reports required under UKSPF, completing the required information under the guidelines.
