The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, in affiliation with our university hospital, The University of Vermont Medical Center, seeks a qualified energetic dermatopathologist to join our current team of three dermatopathologists in our Division of Anatomic Pathology. This is a full-time position with a faculty appointment on the Clinical Scholar Pathway (non- tenure) at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor Rank as appropriate based on previous experience and academic rank. Strong diagnostic skills are required with prior experience signing out highly desired. Additional desirable expertise includes general surgical pathology skills for additional coverage in surgical pathology. Our fast paced dermatopathology service allows for academic pursuits. The candidate should expect to work closely with clinical dermatologists and participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences. The UVM Health Network includes the academic medical center and six community hospitals, and the faculty of the dermatopathology service provide regional consultative services. The ideal candidate will have academic interests in medical student, resident and fellow education as well as scholarly activities such as clinical, translational and/or health services research. The applicant must have a M.D. or D.O., be Board certified in Anatomic Pathology, and be Board eligible or certified in Dermatopathology.
