Reporting to the Director, People and Culture the role is responsible for leading the development and delivery of customer focused people operational services. Leading a large team of human resources professionals, you will oversee people transactional operations over the full employee lifecycle including talent attraction, talent acquisition, onboarding, employment contracts, remuneration, promotions, global mobility, relocation and all other people operational processes. You will also have a strong focus on continuous improvements of systems, processes and procedures as you will be accountable for the maintenance of employee records and information, critical for the university's HRIS applications.
Requirements for success in the role:
• A relevant tertiary qualification with extensive experience and demonstrated success in providing customer-centric, human resources leadership at a senior level in a large, complex organisation • Knowledge and experience in contemporary human resources management and the related IR/ER within a large organisation • Demonstrated ability to design and operationalise workforce objectives within an employee relations context • A strong track record in leading a large team of human resources professionals to achieve goals and objectives through the delivery of customer focused services • Continuous improvement mindset and focus • Excellent interpersonal, consultation and negotiation skills and the ability to build successful relationships with senior executives.
