Deputy Club Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Senior Common Room (Ref: 517337) (to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should have:

• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Financial Management or a related discipline;

• At least 5 years' relevant experience in a listed MNC company, preferably in a sizeable hospitality group or a members' club;

• A proven record in managerial role for a team work and comprehensive knowledge of market trends;

• Strong analytic and project management skills;

• Seasoned in organizing activities and events for VIPS, members and their guests with care and warm hospitality;

• Good leadership skills with strong initiatives to interact with customers;

• Excellent communication and customer relations skills;

• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

The appointee will:

• Be a key member in the Club Executive Team reporting to an external advisor and the Club's Executive Committee, oversee the day-to-day operations of the Club including staff fostering, training, daily administration, marketing, members' relationship management, budget control, audit and financial reporting;

• Work with the Club Executive Team and catering operator to prepare annual budget for property works, operational equipment and manpower;

• Work collaboratively with the team and catering operator to deliver revenue growth and profitability for the club;

• Manage and develop the Club's business to grow membership base and foster a high standard of personalized service to our Members including making recommendations on the Club's services, responding to Members' requests, comments and suggestions;

• Handle all customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily;

• Lead marketing activities with team members to achieve the objectives of the club;

• Monitor and enhance all services and facilities, and the optimum staffing level to achieve high satisfaction for the Members and their guests;

• Train and coach for team members to achieve continuous improvement and help new colleagues aligning with the Club's culture;

• Offer support in the Club's maintenance, renovation and technical support;

• Coordinate and manage events with different stakeholders. Upon reasonable request, work on shifts as duty manager being able to adopt a flexible approach – and may need to work after office hours, over weekends and public holidays with a varied schedule, particularly overseeing important or sizable events and services.
