The Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics is seeking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer to assume teaching, examining and research responsibilities in Phonetics and Phonology. Teaching responsibilities will be at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and at the graduate level there will be a particular emphasis on Phonology.
This is a part-time (0.8FTE) fixed-term post, starting from December 2023 (and by 8 January 2024 at the latest) and ending 30 September 2024.
You will hold, or be close to completing all the requirements for, a PhD/DPhil in Phonetics or Phonology. You will have a research record appropriate to your career stage along with aptitude for, and experience of, teaching, and a willingness and ability to take on some administrative tasks.
