We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our team in Psychology, for 3 months, fulltime to cover a period of absence.

This Administrative Assistant role is central to the department, providing a day-to-day contact point and working closely with the Departmental Officer and colleagues to provide proactive operational support in all areas of the daily running of the department. The role will give you the opportunity to gain experience of working in busy Academic teaching and research active Department.

ABOUT YOU

You will:

  • Have strong organisational skills and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a self-motivated team player and also be able to work on your own.
  • Have experience of providing excellent customer service in a busy and varied office environment as well as experience in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Be able to demonstrate a courteous and professional manner , and an ability to use initiative , when responding to emails and enquiries.
  • Must be available to commence work in the role from 01 Feb 2023.
