Job description

Wageningen Food Safety Research is currently seeking a highly skilled Deep Learning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and a deep understanding of deep learning techniques. As a Deep Learning Specialist, you will work on developing and implementing cutting-edge deep learning models to solve complex food safety problems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing deep learning models to analyze food safety data
  • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to identify and solve food safety challenges
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in deep learning research
  • Communicating research findings and progress to internal and external stakeholders

    Requirements
  • A PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • Strong experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with data visualization and data analysis tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
