Founded in 2002, the Institut Fresnel has built an international reputation based on its high-level, cutting-edge research activities in all the facets of optics and photonics. The Mosaic group of the Institut Fresnel is an interdisciplinary research team composed of around 40 members including physicists and biologists, working at the interface between nanophotonics and bioimaging.RESEARCH PROGRAM
We have an opening for a Data scientist, for 12 months.
The recruited engineer will handle the development deep learning tools for denoising, segmentation, and classification of images obtained by optical microscopy. The images will be acquired using a cutting-edge wavefront microscopy technique that is capable of mapping the electromagnetic field (amplitude and phase) arising from micro / nano objects. The sample of interests will be neurons, bacteria, nanoparticles and 2D materials (such as graphene).Requirements
The candidate should hold an engineer or master degree, and should be experienced in image processing by deep learning using Python. Experience in Matlab will be considered as an asset.
Applications should be sent to Guillaume Baffou (firstname.lastname@example.org) and should include:
