Bowdoin College seeks a collaborative team member to join the Office of Institutional Research, Analytics, and Consulting, which collects, analyzes, and interprets data to inform College conversations and decision making.
The Data Analyst will extract, clean, and analyze data, providing summaries, in tabular forms and visualizations, to diverse internal and external stakeholders, including the College's senior leadership. With a “can-do” attitude, the analyst works with partners across the College to ensure that data is accurate and promotes ways to improve data quality. The analyst prepares official numbers to report to federal agencies, college guidebooks, and peer exchanges, and will be responsible for peer comparison and benchmarking data. The Data Analyst will be trained to use the institutional data warehouse to summarize data for various departments across the College.
